Appearance[]
Insomni is a female Yo-Kai with pale purple skin with a single red eye accented by pale blue eyeshadow. A single stripe of indigo goes across her face. She has long white hair worn in two large horns on top of her head, held by dark indigo ribbon. She wears a dark indigo dress with a small golden flame on the end of her tail, matching the gold material that wraps around the chest. She has the appearance of Genie. Insomni can be found in the infinite inferno.

Personality[]
Despite her looks, Insomni is terrifying and intimidating. She loves staying up all night, and thinks it is all in good fun. However, when someone tells her they want to go to sleep, she says that she will put them to sleep forever. What a scary Yo-Kai!
Insomni is also very confident. She truly believes in her strength, but she's not actually as strong as she thinks she is. However, when defeated, she admits defeat gracefully.

Abilities and Powers[]
Insomi emits a red beam from her eye which makes people stay awake. Sometimes it has more subtle effects, like making a person decide that they want to stay up all night. But if the person is already tired or about to fall asleep, it can force them to stay awake.
History[]
Insomni first appears in Episode 21, where she makes Keita want to stay up all night and read comics. Although Jibanyan saw her, he didn't do anything to stop her.
The next day at school, Keita starts to get dizzy and almost falls asleep in class. When he looks around, he notices that all his classmates and even his teacher all have dark circles under their eyes and can barely stay awake. After using the Yo-Kai Watch to expose Fumin, he summons Baku to defeat her in battle. At first it seems like Fumin has won the battle, but it turns out that it only happened in Insomni's dream. Since Baku put Fumin to sleep, Fumin gave Keita her Yo-Kai Medal.
