Legendary Bio[]
A legendary Jibanyan who became a warrior. He loves skipjack tuna and carries it around in his armor.
Appearance[]
A dull blue cat with a white face and big black eyes. It has a tiny dull pink nose and gold inner-ear coloring. The tips of it's paws are white. It wears a turqoise samurai hat on it's head with a big gold crescent moon on the center and accenting of gold. It wears a matching samurai armor suit, an orange sphare attached to a collar, and an orange rope that holds it's sword. It's tail flames are gold.
Personality[]
Unlike Jibanyan, Shogunyan is dignified, but also a bit rash. He speaks in old dialect and ends his sentences with "de gozaru". Bushinyan takes his status as a samurai very seriously and hates it when others disrespect him. As seen in the anime, he got furious at Keita and Whisper for not sharing the cake he sliced up and attacked them.But soon regretted it after discovering how great a freindship keita and whispers has.
Relationships[]
In the anime, Whisper reveals that Shogunyan is one of Jibanyan's ancestor spirits.
Abilities and Powers[]
In Yo-Kai Watch. He has the following abilities:
- Attack: Lightning Slash
- Technique: Storm
- Soultimate Move: Bonito Blade, Cuts his opponents - not with his claws, but with his trusty sword.
- Inspirit: Heart of a warrior, Gives an ally the heart of a warrior and raises its STR.

How to be Friends With Him[]
Like the Legendary Gilgaros, you will need all 8 tribes for this Legendary Yo-Kai. Jibanyan, Tattletell, Dismarelda, and Draggie can be gotten in the story mode, the others can be gotten whenever you like.

You will need to Complete the First Legendary page in your Medallium. You don't have to keep the Yo-Kai's, after you get them once, the name of that Yo-Kai will glow on the page and after that you can do whatever you it.
